Hello and welcome to our home, Walnut Spring Farm! Our small farm is a work in progress. The house is a post Civil-War beauty ( as you can see). This Blog is about our trials and tribulations of restoring this gorgeous lady to her original stature as well as all the barns and the 13 acres she resides on.
I will also be prattling on about everything dealing with operating a small farm. We plan to grow our own meat, eggs and veggies. We would like to be as self-sufficient and self-reliant as possible. So follow our adventures for homespun advice, tips, recipes, crafts, canning, gardening, animal rearing and crop raising, as well as the destruction and reconstruction of our post war beauty.
